Our card for today, Wednesday, January 10th, is taken from the Ask and It Is Given Cards by Esther and Jerry Hicks – “Since Every Request Is Granted, I Feel No Competition”.
I have been drawn to listen to Abraham as channeled by Esther Hicks over the past couple of days. I know I’m not the only one who finds life difficult at the moment, however I am looking to change things, at least for myself, for the better. I hope that this message will help some of you as well.
Abraham states that there is no shortage of resources, or love, or time in the Universe, and so we do not have to feel guilty for wanting things as there is more than enough of everything to go around. However what keeps us from having what we want is our being out of vibrational alignment with what it is we are asking for, not a shortage. If we are always talking negatively about our lives, or our jobs, or our relationships (or lack thereof), then that is what we put into our own vortex and that is what we draw to us, more of the same.
If we want something different, then we have to start making changes in the way we feel about or talk about things. In other words, stop focusing on the negative or the things we don’t want and put that focus on the positive things in our lives and the things we want more of. One great way to do that is to show appreciation for all the good things we already have in our lives and that in turn draws to us more of the same. The more we adopt that “attitude of gratitude” the more good things we attract.
We have the power to change our lives just by changing our thoughts and emotions. If we find ourselves thinking about negative things, it is up to us to turn that around and find something positive to think about, something that makes us feel good or brings us joy. As we do that, we become more and more a vibrational match to all the good things we have waiting for us in our vortex.
So we need to stop talking about how bad we feel, how much pain we are in, how unfair life is, how little money we have, how lonely we are, or anything else that comes from a place of negativity or lack. It’s time to stop looking outside of ourselves for someone to save us, or for someone to give us what we feel we lack. Happiness is an inside job and it is up to us to make the necessary changes within ourselves for our own happiness. Don’t focus on the bad, focus on the good. There is always something we can be grateful for!
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
